Houston Methodist Hospital

Houston Methodist Hospital partnered with Limelight Films for production services at their Medical Center campus.  The shoot which took place in their studio is for an upcoming patient story the creative services team is producing in-house.  

ConocoPhillips "Leading Edge"

The Limelight crew was back at ConocoPhillips in Houston this fall for a 2-camera executive interview shoot.  We filmed an update featuring the President of their Alaska Business Unit.  The video, titled "Leading Edge" will be distributed company-wide to all employees through their intranet.
 

Community Health Choice TV Spots

This month we've been in the edit suite finishing a series of TV commercials for Community Health Choice.  Partnering with Southall 7 Creative, Limelight Films is responsible for all the post-production of four TV spots, including editing, color correction, motion graphics and final sound mixing.  The spots begin airing on HULU in November. 

Rice University School of Social Sciences

The Limelight Films crew was back on the Rice University campus this week filming for the School of Social Sciences.  The school is a mix of scholars, students and educators connecting teaching and research with policy.  Production took place at Kraft Hall, the new home for the School of Social Sciences.  You can view the video HERE.

Voices For Children

Limelight Films is proud to be part of the Voices For Children Circle at Child Advocates of Fort Bend.  This initiative ensures the long-term sustainability of services to all abused and neglected children in Fort Bend County.  As part of that we are producing a fundraising film that will be presented at the upcoming Voices For Children "Transforming Lives" Breakfast to be held Thursday, September 23rd, 2021.  

Green Screen Production

This summer we are back in the studio with ConocoPhillips filming executive presentations.  The two-camera shoot captured content which will be used as part of a presentation in Qatar.  The on-camera talent will be composited against an animated background with motion graphics.

Taking Autism Research To The Next Level

The Limelight crew had the opportunity to partner with Spectrum News in New York, which provides comprehensive news and analysis of advances in autism research. We produced a profile film on the work of Dr. Huda Zoghbi, director of the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute in Houston, Texas.  The film highlights the landmark discovery Dr. Zoghbi made identifying the genetic roots of Rett syndrome, an autism-related condition that primarily affects girls.

CAFB Event Volunteer of the Year

Each year Child Advocates of Fort Bend holds a Volunteer Appreciation Banquet to recognize volunteers and thank them for their service. On April 22nd I was honored to receive the Event Volunteer of the Year Award at the first virtual celebration.  It was a great evening seeing all the other volunteers who do so much to change the lives of children who have been abused and neglected.

ConocoPhillips & CDQ

 

ConocoPhillips partnered with Limelight Films this month to produce a video on Collaboration for Decision Quality. The project required filming executive interviews with 2-cameras at the ConocoPhillips headquarters in Houston.  The completed video will be used as part of an internal presentation to employees.

Breaking The Cycle of Child Abuse

 

This spring the Limelight Films crew was delighted to be back at Child Advocates of Fort Bend again.  We spent 2-days filming interviews for a fundraising video that will be presented at their upcoming gala event on May 8th.  Their mission is to strengthen the voice of the child, heal the hurt and break the cycle of abuse and neglect for children and families in Fort Bend and surrounding counties.

Working Safe During The COVID-19 Pandemic

Working safely and practicing social distancing was what this summer was all about.  The Limelight crew had the pleasure of partnering with longtime client Child Advocates of Fort Bend to produce a film for their upcoming "Transforming Lives Summer Soiree" event.  The project will be presented at their fundraising event that will take place at the agency’s new Davis George Campus

NYU Partners with Limelight Films

This summer, Limelight Films picked up a new client from the Big Apple, New York University.  NYU's College of Arts & Sciences needed a new logo animation created for presentations and videos.  The Limelight crew developed a storyboard and together with the animation, music and sound design produced a piece they are very proud of.

Rice University School of Social Sciences

The Limelight Films crew had the opportunity to work with Susan McIntosh this week, the new Interim Dean for the School of Social Sciences at Rice University.  The school is a mix of scholars, students and educators committed to connecting teaching and research with policy for the betterment of society.  Production took place on-campus and the video will be featured on the Social Sciences web site.

TTUHSC 50th Anniversary!

Over the last 8 months, Limelight Films has been partnering with the creative team at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in preparation for their 50th anniversary celebration.  The Limelight crew was tasked with producing numerous TV spots and social media videos for the schools of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, health professions and graduate school of biomedical sciences.  Everyone's hard work will culminate at the celebration gala this Friday in Lubbock, Texas.

Data Analytics Symposium Promo

This summer we found ourselves teaming up again with our friends at ConocoPhillips.  This time to create a short film to promote their upcoming 2018 Data Analytics Symposium.  The 3-day event is a collaboration between Information Technology (IT) and the business, showcasing the many ways analytics is being used.  The film will incorporate employee interviews and 2-D motion graphics.
